This CIGRE.ch Webinar has the main purpose to welcome new members and refreshing occasional members in understanding and using the CIGRE platform efficiently. As a side effect, it may also provide networking opportunities among the participants. Event CIGRE.ch WIE event (Women In Energy)

Please register by latest the 11.11.2025 two weeks prior to the event, so we can process needed security measures for the factory tour.
This CIGRE.ch WIE Event is addressing Swiss based female engineers in the Swiss energy sector. It will focus on collaboration across Women Networks, open to Swiss members from Hitachi Energy and CIGRE Women In Energy. We will present the Hitachi Energy FeMale Network (Raffaella Desiati), the Swisspower “Women In Power” Network WIP (Patricia Sandmeier) and the CIGRE “Women In Energy” Network “CIGRE WIE Switzerland” (Priyanka Gugale and National CIGRE Secretary Marcel Stoeckli). We intend to strengthen and activate the CIGRE.ch WIE group out of the participating female visitors, heading for an active core team (National Vice Chair, Technical/WG Lead and Event Lead) and interested community members.
The main goals of the CIGRE.ch WIE group are: Technical and cross-functional knowledge sharing, career development support (mentorship, leadership guidance, role models) and participating in events as a group and creating some own events, always with an inclusive approach to CIGRE senior experts and young talents (CIGRE Next Generation Network).
