\nPlace:<\/strong> Hivoduct, Bahnhofplatz 11, 8908 Hedingen ZH (directly next to the railway station)<\/p>\n

Visit the new factory of this promising startup at its fifth anniversary. Hivoduct is introducing a third powerline architecture that completes the established OHL and Cable technology with pressured air ducts that offer high current, low capacitance, low risk fire materials and 90deg angles to overcome space limitations within e.g. tight substations.<\/p>\n

We will give a short CIGRE Welcome Introduction and look at the recent CIGRE Cable conference results in Trondheim and then learn more about the new Hivoduct architecture that was already presented in CIGRE Sessions 2022 and 2024 and now turns into operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

This also challenges the air transport industry, where efficiency, high energy density at low weight storage and safety face an accentuated importance.<\/p>\n

Visit the pioneers of small airplane electrification that are meeting yearly in Bern Airport and show us how we are just in front of a take-off into electrified airplanes. The event consists of a symposium, an exhibition, demo flights, passenger flights you can buy (or win with Electrosuisse for NGN\/WIE), the inflight competition \u201ceTrophy\u201d and a small food truck area to recharge your own batteries.<\/p>\n

CIGRE Switzerland will be on site with various experts, Swiss NC\/SC and also WIE\/NGN representatives and members, which on top gives you the opportunity to have informal talks with our national CIGRE organisation.<\/p>\n

\nPlace: <\/strong>Lucerne Railway Station, Exit KKL<\/td>\n		CIGRE.ch @ LILU (Lichtfestival Lucerne Walkthrough)<\/strong>: This event is a traditional and informal NGN + WIE + CIGRE expert get together during the inspiring Lucerne Lichtfestival. We will meet and greet, walk through the artists installations in the old town of Lucerne and finally warm up in a coffee shop before travelling individually back.
\nWe also draw a special attention to the projects of the first and second year students of the HSLU Bachelor Animation, who typically are involved inside and around the Peters Chappel between Chappel Bridge and Schwanenplatz.
