Cela permet de refroidir ou de chauffer les b\u00e2timents de mani\u00e8re anticip\u00e9e et d&#8217;\u00e9conomiser ainsi environ un tiers d&#8217;\u00e9nergie.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les thermostats traditionnels, install\u00e9s aujourd&#8217;hui dans de nombreux b\u00e2timents d&#8217;habitation, ne r\u00e9agissent que lorsque la temp\u00e9rature est inf\u00e9rieure ou sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 un certain seuil. La r\u00e9action est donc toujours trop tardive et en plus tr\u00e8s abrupte et violente, car il faut retrouver la temp\u00e9rature souhait\u00e9e le plus rapidement possible. Cela co\u00fbte de l&#8217;\u00e9nergie et, en fin de compte, de l&#8217;argent. La solution : un thermostat qui regarde vers l&#8217;avenir et r\u00e9gule la temp\u00e9rature de mani\u00e8re anticip\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>La spin-off &#8220;Viboo&#8221; de l&#8217;Empa, actuellement en phase de d\u00e9veloppement, permet de regarder dans la boule de cristal. Ses fondateurs, Felix B\u00fcnning et Benjamin Huber, ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 au cours de leurs recherches un algorithme qui permet de r\u00e9guler les b\u00e2timents de mani\u00e8re pr\u00e9dictive. Il suffit de deux semaines de donn\u00e9es sur les b\u00e2timents, comme la position des vannes et les mesures de la temp\u00e9rature ambiante, pour cr\u00e9er un mod\u00e8le du b\u00e2timent. En combinaison avec des pr\u00e9visions de la temp\u00e9rature ext\u00e9rieure locale et du rayonnement solaire global, l&#8217;algorithme calcule ensuite de mani\u00e8re autonome, jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 douze heures \u00e0 l&#8217;avance, la d\u00e9pense \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique id\u00e9ale pour chauffer ou refroidir le b\u00e2timent. Ainsi, les r\u00e9gulations fr\u00e9n\u00e9tiques et r\u00e9actives ne sont plus n\u00e9cessaires et il est possible de r\u00e9aliser jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 49% d&#8217;\u00e9conomies d&#8217;\u00e9nergie.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s ces exp\u00e9riences r\u00e9ussies, les deux chercheurs souhaitent maintenant commercialiser leur algorithme et aider ainsi le plus grand nombre possible de m\u00e9nages \u00e0 \u00e9conomiser de l&#8217;\u00e9nergie et \u00e0 contribuer \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions.
